President Barack Obama said Friday the U.S. will overturn a 22-year-old travel and immigration ban against people with HIV early next year.

I was never aware of this law. I'm wondering how this law was ever enforced? It is nice to see the ban lifted. I think people are more educated about HIV today than 22 years ago and realize that we shouldn't ostracize someone because they have HIV.
