Hurricane Earl likely to sideswipe Outer Banks by Thursday night

While Hurricane Earl is expected to brush the North Carolina coast late on Thursday night, Tropical Storm Gaston has weakened into a depression but still is forecast to intensify into a Category 2 hurricane in the next five days.
