Deacon John R. Fountain Sr., 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 21,
2009, after a long courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving
family. Born on Feb. 11, 1945, in Hanover County, Va., he was son of the late
Emily (Fountain) Johnson and the late Earl Lee Lucas.
