Thomas Hooker Brewery Releases Octoberfest Lager

If this week's cool and rainy days have you looking forward to fall, here's
another reason to get excited - Thomas Hooker's Octoberfest Lager is now
arriving in stores.
The seasonal brew, recipient of several awards and medals, is described by
Hooker as "a rich and satisfying Bavarian-style OctoberFest...comes from a
special  blend of imported German malts that creates a full-bodied brew and 
stresses a malty flavor and lingering aroma."
Thomas Hooker is coming off a successful season of its summer Watermelon Ale -
which was such a hit that the brewery struggled to keep up with demand.
The Octoberfest beer will be on tap at Hooker's next open house on Sept. 3,
according to a post on the Bloomfield brewery's Facebook page.
