Beach Street Sandwiches: Seaside Gourmet In Madison

There's something about the beach that makes food taste better, whether it's the sun, the waves or the sand. 

But when the seaside eats are made by a chef with serious Manhattan credentials, it's just that much more appealing.

Beach Street Sandwiches is a new food truck operated by chef Greg McCarty and his partner Sara Pepitone. They've been serving a rotating lineup of gourmet selections at East Wharf Beach and other locations in Madison since July. The truck has been parking at the beach on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and will do so through Labor Day.
